Campaign for Pasighat Smart City Mission

Pasighat Smart City Mission office headed by MEO Ainstein Koyu had setup camp office at Giidi Notko (General Festival Ground), Pasighat on Feb 25 and 26 (during Ali-Ale-Ligang festivities of Mishing community) to encourage public participation under the Smart City citizen consultation through online registrations followed by public polls on area based development and pan city components, comments and suggestions for improvements of the city, which would ultimately include in the Smart City Draft Proposal for Pasighat.

The office also had catered offline version of the same under which forms, questionnaires were distributed among the huge gathering and their suggestions, and opinions were collected putting suggestion boxes at the venue.

The Smart City office received overwhelming response from the citizens. People found curious of the activities as well as enthusiastic to see Pasighat become one of the smartest cities in the country. The two day camp witnessed participation of the Loksabha MP Ninong Ering, MLAs Kaling Moyong and Lombo Tayeng, Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak, Chief Councillor Kaling Doruk, Deputy Chief Councillor Kaling Darang, municipal councillors, members of the Adi Baane Kebang, members of the Mishing Baane Kebang, NGOs and student organisations.
